I'll never understand why some cachers think that you should play the game in the exact same manner as they do. Absent any written rules regarding cache quality, they have no reason to expect everybody to place well-stocked ammo boxes for every hide.

Quality is such a subjective thing anyway. For me, geocaching is about the place, not the container. I could care less if you went into the most remote, scenic areas of Utah and placed a film canister. I would find it, and it would be worth it! :)

That actually makes me think of the crappy cache geocoin that someone made last year. Except that there was a whole discussion on the forums about it. And in the end, they tried to make it so that it was tasteful and inoffensive.

And the thing about not liking caches is...they all have descriptions! So if you're not challenged enough, why look for it?

I like caches no matter what "quality" it is. It is not bashing the sport when someone purposefully places a "LQ" cache to poke fun at all the other ones. Can't we just move on in our lives, find the cache because you probably won't even remember it after a few weeks along with the others you found that month.
